Make this year’s Christmas memorable with decorated Christmas candles!

Decorated Christmas Candles
Candles have since long been a part of the traditional Christmas celebrations. They are a symbol of light, happiness, and a new tomorrow, and are also a way to eradicate darkness from our lives. Colored candles are also a great way to decorate the Christmas tree and your window panes. Even if you have missed out on buying gifts for certain family members and friends, you can gift them candles. Let’s see how you can choose the best one. Here are some tips from our side –

Avoid Paraffin Candles
While buying candles, always remember that you should avoid all those types of objects that can cause harm to the environment and those around you. Paraffin candles should be avoided for this very reason. On lighting, they emit harmful agents such as toluene and benzene. Using candles made out of Soy is a good alternative that’s made available to us by the manufacturers.

Use beeswax and prevent dripping!
Beeswax is a kind of wax that burns slowly and steadily. Also, wax from a beeswax candle doesn’t trip. This is pretty beneficial because we often have to clean up the wax from our window sills after the normal candle leaves behind some wax. Wax can be stubborn to remove too. So when you’ve an alternative, you should try it out. The only problem some people might have is that beeswax, because of its origin, can smell a bit like honey. So if you are allergic to the smell, you can go and buy the regular candles.

Inspect the wick!
The wick is a really important aspect of the candle. If the wick is of a lower grade, your candle can burn extremely faster, or at times the wick might burn unevenly and totally put off the flame. Your wick needs to be really strong and prepared in such a way so that it burns evenly.

Christmas Candles

Christmas Candles

Using Christmas Candles is an age old tradition. It is symbolic of many good things. History shows that candles were used during ancient times during the winter season in order to remember spring. Records also say that Christmas candles were used during the medieval times in order to represent the Star of Bethlehem! These traditions are extremely joyful to read about. They tell us about a past which people don’t know about, and are fast replacing with modern practices such as using artif

Feeling the magic of the festive season with scented Christmas candles!

scented christmas candles
It is said that scents find their way to our brain stronger than most other things. It is therefore not astonishing to know that we often remember past memories when subjected to certain scents. Probably when you smell a musk scent, you might remember your college classmate who always wore the same scent; or if you smell something pungent, you might remember all those Chemistry lab experiments that you had done in high school!

Similarly, great scents and Scented Christmas Candles are a way to make your festivals distinctive. Not only will they spread fragrance and create an inviting atmosphere for your guests who are coming home, but also they will enter the memory and ensure that whenever a similar scent is sprayed, people recall your Christmas party. And the other way round is also true; whenever people remember your Christmas party, they will remember all those great scents emanating from various rooms of your home.

The tradition of Christmas Candles

It is said that there’s a long standing tradition behind lighting Christmas Candles. In the UK, it is considered an auspicious practice because it is believed to symbolize an invitation to Mary and Joseph who are supposed to be visiting every household during Christmas. On this day, storekeepers often used to distribute bundles of scented candles to their loyal patrons.

Buying Candles for the festival

Over the past few years, modern technology such as artificial lights and artificial candles replaced the widespread use of candles on Christmas. However, if news and social media posts are anything to go by, then the trend is going to come back strongly this year. The markets are already flooded with a wide range of candles. You can find candles of various sizes and shapes, and innumerable fragrances at your local mart.
